The Mekong Delta.

On our way from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Region I notice very subtle changes in the food shelters/ café’s  along the road.

Somewhere about 10km out of the city, it appears; A hammock, strong, restful and occupied. Hammocks increase in number and size, the closer we get to the Delta region.

I am told that the people are lazy in the Mekong Delta region, but I do not believe it.

There is a different vibe here and I want to know why that is.

So let me think about it for a bit on this day- known as Good Friday,  which is the holiest of all days in the Christian Tradition.

In the meantime lets share the stillness as we gaze on the majestic presence.

Please excuse if my photo’s don’t quite grasp the splendor of it all but here they are nonetheless.IMG_2569IMG_2570IMG_2572IMG_2575IMG_2577IMG_2561
