img_2041The man who wrote this was a difficult man. Arrogant and rude, he was often known to offend. A keen observer of human nature he questioned everything and gave rise to the notion that diseases are triggered by a deep unresolved loneliness in the human soul.

He also said that ‘ He who can do nothing understands nothing. He who understands nothing is worthless.  But he who understands also  Loves, Notices ans Sees .

I wish  I lived the same time as Paracelsus and he was my teacher and  friend. We  would have had good conversations together  about the meaning of Life.

It is my interpretation that we must constantly search for the motivations behind  all human behavior. Judging by outer appearances  is a worthless en devour. Understanding and acceptance all human behavior, opens our eyes to the healing power of  God’s Love. Interesting thought for a Monday Morning.

My search for the miraculous has brought me home.

I have traveled far and wide in search of the elusive Holy Grail to find that it was with me all along

Life’s Heartbeat

Hiding

in my siblings eyes.

As the words of the Good Book echoes in my head…

Love is always patient and kind;

Love is never jealous;

Love is never boastful or conceited;

It is never rude or selfish;

It does not take offence and is not resentful.

Love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins but delights in the truth;

It is always ready to excuse. to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

Love does not come to an end.

( 1 Corinthians:  13; 4-8)

Have a great Monday you guys

And don’t forget to hug someone you love today.

Because this moment will never come around again

It’s in the bag….Right?

Wrong …wrong… wrong… the old cliché rings true here

The way to hell is paved with good intentions

I don’t know about you but when I am left to my own devices I slip into bad habits very easily. It’s a very common problem apparently and this is why Korko suggested, that a group of us could meet at least once, if not twice a week to help us with our practice.

He also gave us the guidelines below to read out to help us stay focused and to help anyone who choose to join us, on any particular day.

Guidelines, allow the people gathering for meditation to have a very clear understanding of what this meditation is all…

I WENT INTO THE WOODS BECAUSE I WISHED TO LIVE DELIBERATELY, TO FRONT ONLY THE ESSENTIAL FACTS OF LIFE, AND I SEE IF I COULD NOT LEARN WHAT IT HAD TO TEACH, AND NOT, WHEN I CAME TO DIE, DISCOVER THAT I HAD NOT LIVED (Henry David Thoreau)

The question is, how do we go into the woods to LIVE a deliberate life?

What ARE the essential facts, that life has to teach us?

I know, from experience how incredibly easy it is to become immersed in everyday anxieties which will become irrelevant  when it comes to dying.

And what of work? That topic that I promised to return to in my last blog.

Can work prevent us from finding our true path in life?

In today’s society we need money. At the most basic level, money will provide food and shelter. With it,we can buy many things and travel the world and we can, if we wish, go to the woods to live a deliberate life. Without it we could die, literally.

And yet, most of us have to work to get money.

Therein, lies the dilemma we need money to live and in that living we…

IMG_1926I believe, every journey begins with a single step and this step is more enjoyable when it is shared with a friend and on the 27th of May in this year of 2015, we became travelling companions.

It has been an incredible honor for me to be out here blogging in cyberspace, every Monday and Wednesday and to observe that at times, I have up to 70 people reading my posts. I hope you are enjoying reading them as much as I like writing them. Like you I see myself as a student of life, always learning and asking why?

It is fantastic when you think about it, us humans,  live, eat, sleep, procreate and die just like every other animal on this planet we call Earth. Any yet, for some strange reason we can read and write thus allowing us the opportunity to do as we wish. Furthermore…

I started blogging about this topic on  Wednesday 24th May 2015 saying, that every journey begins with a single step  and added that would be a great honor if you the reader allowed me to be your travelling companion.

I noted at the time that evaluation of self can be frightening and suggested that every Wednesday I would blog encouragingly blogging to celebrate life.

At that time I viewed the blog  as  an extension of my private practice and the courses that I have taught on positive self-awareness, relaxation and meditation over the years.

Now, I am writing a book and hopefully it will be published soon.

Note to self

So that me guys,

thanks for interest and support over the years.

It has been great.

Hugs and Love.
